Each day you get to choose, how do you want to perceive today?
Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher and dharma massage OwnerCYT/RYT/LMTI graduated from Blue Sky School of Professional Massage and Therapeutic Bodywork in 2009 after a career in the retail industry. I am also a certified yoga teacher and hold a BA from UW-Oshkosh. Yoga has helped me, not only find myself, but also a path in which I can share with others this wonderful gift we have inside ourselves: the power, strength and courage to be who we are. I believe you find yoga when you are ready to start to find out who you really are. Yoga has been the mainstay of light and stability through the transitions life has brought me. It has helped me find not only myself but also a path in which I can share with others this wonderful gift we have inside ourselves: the power, strength and courage to be who we are. Yoga is one of my mediums to connect and open a conversation of transformation, to allow students to connect to their way of being. Yoga is for every “BODY”; come as you are and be you, there is nothing more inspiring. Come explore your possibilities. I am so excited to combine both massage and yoga. Together the synergies of these two modalities are very powerful and I can’t wait to share them with you.As a therapist, business owner and person, I am aware of the far-reaching effect our lives have on others and the power of a healing touch. Each massage is catered to the client’s needs using a variety of modalities with a mindful, nurturing touch. I have worked in spas, provided sports massage at the Green Bay Marathon and currently pursuing my interests in Energy Work. "Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.

"It is not what you do that creates who you are, it is who you are that creates what you do."
"Michelle has the uncanny ability to ask questions that cause one's core/subconscious to awaken to needed answers and reveal next steps. After sessions with Michelle I consistently experience deep peace and a relaxing clarity of mind (lack of mental chatter). I highly recommend the HeartMath Resilience program, and especially as connected to Life Coach work with Michelle Novenski."
My guiding principle in life is peace. Early on I knew I did not want to struggle. My desire was to find a way to live in the space of grace, to be grounded and centered and allow life to flow rather than chasing opportunities and circumstances.
Not being able to manage our stress results in struggle, this is why I specialize in stress management and resilience.
I have had a lifetime of self discovery, self improvement and moments of mastery. I believe every human has the potential to find that flow and live their purpose.
Today we are so busy "doing" that we forget who we are...our society teaches us that in order to understand who we are we must do! The truth is that when we know who we are we are guided to do things that support our "being".
Managing stress and becoming resilient
Michelle has a diverse background in education and experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in organizational communication and a Master of science in metaphysics, as well as master practitioner of NLP and Psycho-Somatic analysis. She is a Reiki Master, has studied a variety of energy healing techniques and is a certified stress management coach and a HeartMath Certified Coach in personal resilience.
My yoga journey began when I was in high school here in Neenah, and while being totally intimidated by the bends, twists, and foreign language of yoga as a teenager, I decided to give it a try because I am always up for new physical and mental challenges. Little did I know that my exposure to yoga as a teen would provide a pathway to future opportunity, enlightenment, and personal and professional growth. I've come to realize that there is truly no definition for yoga because it means whatever it needs to mean to each individual person. I strongly believe that the power to connect the mind, body, and soul is integral to creating balance and contentment individually and as a community, and I want to share my practice as I learn from others in the process.
As a high school teacher, I find that yoga has not only helped me show up as my best self for my students, but has helped me facilitate to others how to find gratitude and contentment in our busy lives. Every complex and beautiful life is bursting with energy and unique stories, and I cherish the opportunity to provide a forum for expression, experimentation, and endless fulfillment that comes with practicing yoga and mindfulness.
